SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - November 29, 2000

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – November 29, 2000 – State of Utah, Administrative Office of the Courts launched on November 17, 2000 a state-of-the-art internet application, that allows litigants to prepare customized court documents on-line to file for uncontested divorces or landlord-tenant disputes.

The court application (http://courtlink.utcourts.gov) takes users through a questionnaire; at the end of which a customized court document is downloaded to the users’ computer, which can be printed and taken to the court for filing. Future versions would allow for electronic filing, digital signature and e-payment options.

The application, developed by S Square Technologies – uses S Square’s - Rapid Internet Application & Dynamic Document Generation Tool. S Square has filed for patent for this tool that allows for the creation of such applications without any need to write html or java programming code. One of the major advantages of this tool is the ability to rapidly update the application as and when the regulations are modified.

"This is one of the most sophisticated applications of its kind in the country," said Surya S. Narayanan, co-founder and Executive Vice President. "This is the first of many applications that can be powered by our patent-pending tool."

"We are very pleased that the State of Utah has launched this application which will help Utahns who cannot afford attorney’s to file their own documents in the courts,"
said K. Jayaraman, President and CEO. "This application typifies how the state of Utah is rapidly moving to E-Governance."
